It now runs up to the end of the Horned Hold (map here). Of just a few of the 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons products I worked on. While adventure paths are awesome and they saved D&D for me and my group in 3E, they also demand that X amount of experience points be distributed each adventure in order to get the players to level Y, where the next . A 4th Edition D&D adventure for characters of levels 7–10. I am not sure if there were magic items before, but there are now. The ancient trees H3 Pyramid of Shadows is the third adventure in a three-part series that began with H1 Keep on the Shadowfell and H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth. 4th Edition Dungeon Master's Guide. Thunderspire Labyrinth is the second part of the H/P/E series and it stands apart from it's contemporaries in that it doesn't attract too much ire from the intercrowd. Thunderspire Labyrinth: the opening combat in the Chamber of Eyes was awesome because it was pretty much a single encounter that encompassed the entire temple of Torog. If Keep was a nod to B2: Keep on the Borderlands then surely H2 tips a wink to the classic Giant/Drow modules of the late 70s. This worked quite well in the Duergar area of H2, for example. I liked the Compare the level 11 boss of H2 with Karavakos the level 15 boss of H3 their attack bonuses vs non-AC defenses are the same. Skill challenge in the smithy actually made sense to me (I'm not a huge fan of skill challenges in general) and for that encounter I used part of the Horned Hold from H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth to represent the smithy itself. About two days afterwards, said barbarian took out 2 Bronze Warders at the same time(taken from H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth) dying 9 times in the process. Only a wink mind, it's got very modern Tagged as 4e, d&d, reviews, thunderspire · ← Five at the brink of Desolation. Or at least not as much ire as the others in the series. As published adventurers go I was mostly happy playing through this one. Thunderspire Labyrinth (Spoilers) Last night we finally got enough people at the table to finish the last battle of Thunderspire Labyrinth after a month of unlrealted adventuring due to absent player syndrome. I have updated my D&D Next conversion of H2: Thunderspire Labyrinth.
